Migrate to a New Statseeker Server

Important Note:

• Before you begin you will need a valid License Key to activate the new server. To obtain a key, email keys@statseeker.com and inform us that you wish to migrate your server. Please make sure to include your current Server ID number which can be obtained from the Administration Tool> General> License Key option. A confirmation email will be sent when the migration License Key is ready to be downloaded.

Migration Steps:

1. Backup the existing data by using the Backup/Restore utility in ssadmin;
2. Perform a clean installation of the software onto the new server;
3. Download a new License Key via Administration Tool> General> License Key;
4. Use the Backup/Restore utility in ssadmin to configure and perform a restore to the new server.

Note: The WEB admin user password on the restored server will remain the same as original server when the restore is complete.
